Palets puck postcard

In Brittany, our pétanque puck isn’t round. And we don’t even call it pétanque. Up here, we play it with a cast iron jack and 12 pucks we call “palets” (although be careful, because we also have biscuits called the same thing. Not to be confused, unless you’re up for a seriously crumby game). This “our pucks are flat” postcard is a great way of sticking it to the South – there’s more to life than pétanque, you know!
